My tips on writing jocular:

  • It must be funny to you. If it don't make you smile or laugh than do not use the conversation idea.

  • Test if a few class mates also can laugh about it. If so, than develop the theme further. If not, than choose another suggestion.

  • Make a tie to something to think about, a thought or even an educational message.
